European Indo Law

This is the second volume of the Oxford Encyclopaedia of European Community Law, covering the law of the internal market (the first volume covered the law relating to the community institutions). The book covers those areas of Community law which are relevant to the creation and functioning of the internal market, such as the four freedoms, i.e. the free movement of goods, persons, services and capital, including the right of establishment; customs law; company law; intellectual property rights; sex equality law; social security law; public procurement; tax law; and related areas (competition law and policy will be covered in the third volume). It contains definitions and explanations of the most important terms and concepts used in EC and EU law, based on the Treaties, secondary legislation and, above all, on the case-law of the European Court of Justice.
