Agnicayana - The Atiratra Agnicayana or piling of the altar of Agni is an ancient ritual of Vedic religion. The entire ritual takes twelve days to perform, in the course of which a great bird-shaped altar is built out of more than a thousand bricks.

Grhya Sutras - The Grhya Sutras "domestic sutras" are a category of Sanskrit texts in the tradition of the Brahmanas, commenting on Vedic ritual. Their language is late Vedic Sanskrit, and they date to around roughly 500 BC, contemporary with the Shrautasutras.

Agnistoma - The Agnistoma or fire sacrifice is a ritual of Vedic religion. It is one of the seven Somayajnas.

Soma - Soma (Sanskrit), or Haoma (Avestan) (from Proto-Indo-Iranian *Sauma) was a ritual drink of importance among the early Indo-Iranians, and the later Vedic and Iranian cultures.
